We are pleased to announce that David Wampler has joined our staff of hydrogeologists and environmental professionals. David has strong and diverse quantitative backgrounds in geomorphology, geophysics, fluvial and coastal systems, and sedimentary processes.

His areas of expertise include:

  • Surface and near-surface geologic processes
  • Spatial analysis in GIS and Python
  • Statistical methods and algorithms
  • Software development
  • Project management and organization
  • Working with large geohydrology datasets
  • Field work for site history and characterization

Major projects David has worked on include groundwater and sediment contamination assessments for large ports and near-shore industries, subsurface mapping for water and compressed-air energy storage, geomorphology analysis of geologic hazards, remote-sensing of surface water storage changes, and ecosystem health investigations.

David demonstrates a personal commitment to reliably providing high-quality results within project deadlines and budgets. He is excited for the opportunity to apply his skillsets to new projects and develop himself as a consultant.

When David is not at work, he is honing his skills as a 5th degree black belt in American Kenpo.

We are proud to add David Wampler to our team. If you would like to take advantage of David's broad earth science experience, or for any of the services listed above, please contact David at PGG's Seattle office at (206)-329-0141 or by email at david@pgwg.com.
